Join Jonathan Reck and friends as they railfan the Conrail Pittsburgh Line for three days in June of 1985 from Cove, PA to Cresson, PA.

This is the first volume in this series. They usually made the trip twice a year to photograph and film the action along the line.

A wide variety of trains and locations are covered. Featured locations include: Horse Shoe Curve, Bennington Curve, Allegrippus, Gallitzin, Cresson, Lily, Thomson, Mifflin, Lewistown and more.

We’ll see coal, mail and auto parts trains, plus Amtrak’s Broadway limited and the Pennsylvanian are also featured.
